The challenge
THINK BIG.
BUILD REAL.
Vibe Forge is a coding competition where creativity, problem-solving and artificial intelligence come together. Participants use AI-powered development tools to turn an idea into a working product, deploy it to a public URL, and explain it in a short video pitch.
What is vibe coding?
Vibe coding means building software by describing what you want to an AI coding assistant, trying what it makes, and steering it with follow-up prompts until it works. You don't need to be an expert programmer — but you do make the decisions: what to build, what to keep, and what to fix.

Who can take part?
Anyone aged 13 or over, from anywhere in the world, subject to the laws where they live. Enter solo or in a team of up to three people including the team leader. Under-18s need a parent or guardian's agreement. Entry is free.
What should you build?
A real, working digital product on any lawful topic: a web app, a tool, a game, a site that solves a problem. Categories help us organize entries, but they never limit your idea. A small product that genuinely works beats a big mockup that doesn't.

How can AI help?
Use AI assistants to plan, write, debug and explain code. Keep notes on how you prompted and iterated — judges want to understand how you used AI and where your own judgement came in. Your finished product doesn't need to contain AI features.
What do you submit?
A public link to your working demo, a short write-up (problem, target users, main features, tools used and how AI helped), an optional repository link, and a screen-recorded video pitch of up to two minutes — no need to show your face. Explain the architecture, show the code if you can, and demonstrate the features. Video editing quality isn't judged.

How is it judged?
Judges score every entry against the same published 100-point rubric — with the most weight on working functionality and effective use of AI and prompting.
